Schedule a 1:1 Session with a Senior Admissions Consultant

Note that these sessions should not be used as a substitute for the full curriculum found in Small Group Coaching or the Self-Paced Program. The full curriculum enables students to access our vast array of online materials, including practice prompts, guides, instructional videos, templates, checklists, and more. The 1:1 sessions should be used for strategic planning, additional editing, and/or more individualized support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between Small Group Coaching and the Self-Paced Course. Which one is better for my student?

A: Both follow the same curriculum including  instructional videos, practice prompts, guides,  templates, and example responses. The two main differences are:

  • In Small Group Coaching, a live instructor delivers content, and the live-online class structure (with a maximum of 6 students) allows students to motivate one another to succeed.

  • Small Group Coaching students receive more feedback on their responses, receiving a detailed review of approximately 40-50 responses. In contrast, self-paced students have the ability to get 10 of their responses reviewed and the option to purchase additional feedback sets as needed.

For a self-driven and self-accountable student, the Self-Paced Course is a great fit. However, for a student who benefits from structure or working with a live instructor with regular meetings times, Small Group Coaching is more suitable.

 

Q: Can I switch from the Self-Paced Course to Small Group Coaching and pay only the difference?

A: Yes, we do offer this option. Please email us to process this. However, if you know that you prefer Small Group Coaching, we recommend signing up directly for that to gain immediate access to our online materials, which you can study independently until your sessions start.

Q: Can I pay via credit card? Do you offer payment plans?

​A: All registrations are securely processed through PayPal or Stripe. You may also pay by credit or debit card by selecting the yellow “PayPal Checkout” button. Within 24 hours of registration, you will receive an email with access information. Please check your inbox, spam, trash, and updates folders for this email. Payment plans are available through PayPal Credit during checkout. In most cases, you can split the payment into four interest-free monthly installments, with no impact on your credit score.

Q: What if my student does not qualify to TJ or changes their mind about preparation. Do you offer any refunds?

A: We offer a 3-day money-back guarantee for our SPS/PSE Online Self-Paced Course. We encourage students to try the course materials to see if it’s the right fit for them. However, we do not provide refunds for Small Group Coaching, to ensure fairness and availability for other students who are seeking to register.
